اریوکروم بلک تی ایزولب یک ماده جامد پودری به رنگ قهوه ای تیره است. فرمول شیمیایی این ماده C₂₀H₁₂N₃O₇SNa می باشد. اریوکروم بلک تی یک رنگ پودری است که در آب و الکل حل می شود. از این ماده برای تشخیص سختی آب، تشخیص وجود عنصرهای نادر زمین و نیز به عنوان نشانگر در تیتراسیون با استفاده از EDTA استفاده می شود.
