نقره سیانید – silver cyanide

نقره سیانید – silver cyanide که نام دیگر آن Argentous cyanide  می باشد، دارای فرمول شیمیایی AgCN است. این ماده که به صورت کریستال های بدون رنگ و خاکستری می باشد، دارای دمای ذوب 335 درجه سلسیوس که معادل 635 درجه فارنهایت و 608 کلوین می باشد، است. جرم مولی این ماده 133.8856 گرم بر مول و چگالی آن 3.943 گرم بر سانتی متر مکعب است.

این ماده تقریبا در آب انحلال ناپذیر است ولی در اسید نیتریک در حال جوش، اسید رقیق، الکل، آمونیاک غلیظ و هیدروکسید آمونیوم محلول است.

از این ماده که 80.5 درصد آن را نقره تشکیل داده برای آبکاری نقره و در صنعت جواهرسازی استفاده می کنند.

از نکاتی که هنگام کار با این ماده باید رعایت کرد می توان به موارد زیر اشاره کرد:

P271: Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.

P273:  Avoid release to the environment.

P280: Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.

P284: Wear respiratory protection.

P301+P310: IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.

P302+P350: IF ON SKIN: Gently wash with soap and water.

P302+P352: IF ON SKIN: Wash with soap and water.

P304+P340: IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.

P305+P351+P338:  IF IN EYES: Rinse continuously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.

P310: Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.

P330: Rinse mouth.

P332+P313: If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
